Poll question: Harder Obama Opponent: Clinton or McCain?
Who will prove the harder opponent for Obama, Hillary in the primaries or McCain in the general election?

I think that Hillary put up a harder fight than Gramps ever will.

2. Clinton is the more formidable, IMO. I think John McCain is unstable.
He seems ill-prepared for the discussion on issues, he seems to lack ethical judgment in his staff appointments, and he gets angry easily.

Not exactly what I'm looking for in a position of high influence.

4. When * went into Hillary mode, McCain didn't bite.
While McCain may be carrying water for a party of unprincipled ethically-challenged scum, he's not willing to sink to the level of Rove/Hillary.

That being said, I'm looking forward to the debates.

10. I think anyone who hasn't kept up with current events
is overestimating the Republican position.

Mind you I am not underestimating the slime machine. I am saying I'm not sure this is a country all that interested in Swift-Boaters anymore.

Rev Wright would have utterly obliterated Kerry in 2004. Total destruction. They didn't have a sliver of that on him and took him down.

I still think there are people, especially on the Right, who are flabbergasted Wright bounced off Obama like he did. And its not because Obama is some golden god of politics. There are just too many people with much bigger concerns.

This is not Karl Rove leading a war on terror and revenge for 9/11. This is a faintly senile old man still trying to tell a pissed off country that Iraq was a good idea.

7. Hillary, and for one reason:
Obama had to be restrained from attacking Hillary too harshly, because he didn't want to contribute to splitting the party. He has no such problems when dealing with McCain.

8. Hillary is a tougher opponent personally, but McCain has the GOP smear machine behind him
which is far more competent than Hillary's mismanaged gaggle of operatives.

9. I'm not worried about McCain...I'm worried about the GOP and
Rethug cronies who will do and say anything to throw mud.

11. Hillary's the tougher opponent. However the media will work much harder for McCain.
That's why I still think McCain has a strong advantage over Obama (just like he would have against any Democrat).
