How not to run a campaign: Hillary Clinton's campaign is $20 million in DEBT

So much for Lanny Davis lying about how the Clinton campaign got $10 million overnight after the Indiana primary. It turns out that Hillary Clinton spending $11 million on her own campaign is not added to the debt the campaign is in. She is in the red by double that amount:

Clinton aides continued to insist that she will remain in the race even while confirming that she is $20 million in debt. "The voters are going to decide this," senior adviser Howard Wolfson said on "Fox News Sunday," acknowledging the $20 million figure. "There is no reason for her not to continue this process." Wolfson said he has seen "no evidence of her interest" in pursuing the second-place spot on the Democratic ticket, contrary to rumors that she is staying in the race to leverage a bid for the vice presidential nomination.

Imagine how the HIllary Clinton administration would be if it's in any way how they run their campaign? Obama's campaign, on the other hand, is upwards of $40+ million at hand.

1. So what I want to know is how is her campaign even still
alive if it's not only broke but deeply, obscenely in debt?

How the hell are they paying people? Paying for transportation? Meals? Etc? I know she's not running any more ads, but that's not the only expense of a campaign, not by far.

6. I'm sure we will find out soon enough if they are paying their staff or not...

When someone says they are $20 million in debt, it's probably not even adding the interest on the debt, which would be the only way to get a loan with that much debt in the first place. If she stays in all the way to June 3, I would bet $50 million in debt would be more like it.

All I can say is that the Obama campaign better not help pay ANY of it back. Paying the likes of Mark Penn, Wolfson and MacAulliffe a DIME is not what they should do. The Clintons can pay it off, since they are such big hotshots now...

4. Oh and about that quote?
I'm really GLAD she's not interested in the VP slot and I hope to GOD that's the truth. Because first of all, I don't think Obama would pick her in a million. Secondly, if he lost his mind and did pick her, that would be DISASTROUS.

5. So if you add her "donations" in, she's really just under $32 million in debt?
So much for "ready from day one"....

8. She's got the money
And should give a bunch of her other money aftr paying off the campaign debt to help the poverty-stricken. All those high-rollers should put their money where their mouth is. John Edwards included.

20. She can try to destroy Obama with her husband so she might get a chance in 2012
To that end, they might see this as a "success"...

12. I remember Lanny Davis beaming with joy bragging about getting $10 million overnight...
...after she squeaked out of Indiana after having double-digit poll leads...

Yeah, Lanny was so proud...

17. I remember that, too. It was Terry McAuliffe that time
who claimed they were going to get ten million in donations overnight.

That time it didn't pan out, either. I guess they think if they say it, it'll happen. I realized that doesn't work when I was around three or four years old. Most of us do the same.

21. I'd love to find the footage of Davis, MacAwful and Wolfson...
I bet Bill probably even mentioned how they were "raking it in..."

Another example of how the SDs need to pull the plug....

11. I don't have any sympathy for Hillary, but if I were her, I know I would sue
Mark Penn for not only the $4 million still owed to him, but for his $20 million charge for his stupidity! I choked yesterday when I heard that his strategy was that she would win NY, Ca, and Tx. and have a lock on winning the nomination. He thought the DEM PRIMARIES WERE WINNER TAKE ALL TOO! I can't believe someone who THINKS he's worth $20 million is THAT damn stupid! Hell, I'd have done the job for $5 million for the entire campaign and I'm damn smarter than that!

The bad news is somehow Obama is going to have to payback the vendors that got screwed over by the Clinton Machine.

16. She hasn't figured out yet that she's been double crossed.
Her neocon advisors aren't going to tell her to stop as long as she's damaging Obama. They win either way. She and Bill are still expecting to pull it out with a little help from their friends who are laughing all the way to another "squeaker" in November.

Hillary to stop spending your money. Easy come, easy go.
