Edited on Mon May-12-08 01:45 AM by PretzelWarrior
wahoo! I started my new journal. any ideas of how to get the most from it? or to make it be the best journal it can be?

your help is appreciated. I added formatting. but is there a way to add in other links around DU or outside of DU? any way to show my friends list or any other interesting things you guys know?

come let me know what you think of various posts. I believe I will be adding them both in discussion forums and in the journal.

1. Hi PretzelWarrior... what a great screen name!

You've done a good job! I don't know too much about HTML and additional features, but one of the best ways to see other journals is just to link to them at random.

You'll see everything from abandoned blogs to wonderful constructs that will make you drool.

Add your journal to the signature area of your emails if you wish -- that's the way people know what I'm doing at any time.

You'll want to consider this if you have a business email, though. That might not work out if you are opinionated and your clients don't share your views!

I'll think of some other things and try to get back to you.

My journal has been the source of a lot of good times and the journal feature is something really exciting. This is especially true because you will get comments -- I really hate the blogs that have one person's ideas and no comments. Just my fix on this...

I'm used to lots of action because of my radio call-in show background.

Anyway, you're welcome to my world at:

PS. It's archived WAY back so you can see some of the ideas I've been batting around in my head.

Peace, love and happiness,

Radio Lady Ellen Kimball in Oregon

3. Oh, I didn't know you were local! I'm in Beaverton with my husband
Audio_Al. He didn't last long on the DU, however. Didn't like the BS he had to put up with from others who got the wrong impression. Long boring story.

Forums are not for everyone!

Take care and have a wonderful week.
