If Obama was to say "Hillary is not a racist, as far as I'm aware".
Would people think he is accusing her of racism or not. This is a genuine question not flame bait respect each others answers and try to be civilized .

When Hillary said "Obama is not a muslim, as far as I'm aware" I thought nothing of it but when the media brought it up I figured yeah she might be throwing a dig.

I do not think Hillary is racist but I think she has crossed the line a couple of times . I wonder would Hillary take offense if a comment like this was made about her?

I am an Obama supporter in case anyone wants to know but I would vote for Hillary if she was the nom

12. He won't say that. It is a divisive comment, and he knows better. He is taking the high road.
Ignoring Hillary's theatrics and drama, in order to focus on McCain. Hopefully we will all be on the same page, doing the same thing soon. Time to take McCain down!

3. If you sell out your principles in order to appeal to racists
you are worse than a racist IMO.

Anyhoo, Hillary says she isn't a racist. I take her at her word.

10. She also denied that he was a muslim
four other times. You guys just latched onto that ONE line as if it was the totality of what she'd said.

She made it very clear she didn't think Obama was muslim, but you guys ignored those other lines. Just more of the type of smears you guys use against her.

11. Yes. And, in fact, I would like to hear him say it!
It might help to mend some fences for the party.

13. The two are not the same are they?
Hillary had to be careful to also not insult Muslims when asked that question. How emphatic should she have been? Do you find it offensive to be a Muslim?

14. It would be an equivalent statement
And within his rights to say so if he felt that and wanted to verbalize it. In fact technically it would probably be honest. It would be a foolish thing for him to add "as far as I know" onto his observation however, and Obama is not that foolish. Said in innocence or by conscious intent, it was foolish of Hillary Clinton to tack that onto her earlier comment about Obama, and it did not help her cause that she did.
