Our party keeps picking candidates who can't win by a
large majority. If a Presidential primary winner picks a non-majority religious, female, etc. for VP then they will lose. People see it as a "nice thing to do for affirmative action" but not a leader with real goals.

1. I agree.
Regardless of who WE'D like to see in the VP slot, I've been saying that we need a white guy strategically. We have to remember whose votes we need to court:

7. The party acts like they never heard of a Focus Group to
see what voters think about candidates. Polls won't do it since the questions can sometimes lead to false answers.

Sanchez-Kirk "dream team" stuff here in Texas back in 2002 and it didn't get us very far.
