If Hillary had any kind of an argument re "electability"
Edited on Mon May-12-08 12:44 PM by Jersey Devil
Despite the fact that she is expected to win whopping, one sided victories in WV and Ky, the superdelegates are breaking one after the other for Obama and some switching from Hillary to Obama. I haven't kept score, but there must have been about 30 supers added for Obama since last Tuesday's primaries and a net of maybe 1 or 2 for Hillary.

Let's say she wins WV by 30 or more tomorrow. If the supers keep flowing to Obama, does she continue to make the same arguments? Does she expect to reverse all that with big wins in WV and KY and suddenly have them breaking the other way and Obama supers to be flipping to Hillary? Is she delusional?

2. Yup. I wouldn't be surprised if she chains herself to the oval office desk. nt

3. No. I don't think she is delusional.
I think she just believes in the process of having a contest. A lot of the Democrats want this to be over. I think that is why the supers are jumping over to Obama. They are just tired, as are all of us. I hope next election we do not begin it the day after a new president takes office. It takes too much money as well as energy. I feel as if I have been in the election process for 2008 since the day after 2004 election. There should be rules for everyone. I don't know what the Democrats were thinking when they added delegates and super delegates ( which turned out to be super super super delegates) to the process. It disenfranchises so many voters. But changing horses in midstream just seems dishonest.

4. Obama's gotten more supers than Clinton can hope to gain in pledged delegates in WV.
She'll be in worse shape this tuesday than she was last tuesday.

5. Another day older and deeper in debt...
If she can't raise money, one good day at the polls does not save her.
