As I drive through the city where Chelsea Clinton is speaking..
I enjoy all the Obama yard sides that I pass by...

and ponder just what Chelsea really hopes to gain...

in what industry does Chelsea work in again ?

for a state that leans in favor of Hillary so much, I am amazed by the local obama support.

31. Never did answer your question "What City?"
I'm guessing that it's no city just an imaginary pretend post.

5. Apparently some city where civility is out of style
I'm not speaking of the people with the yard signs. I'm speaking to the fact that while Chelsea is campaigning her heart out for her mother, it apparently makes someone feel good that she has to see signs for her mother's opponent.

8. Which Northern Kentucky town?
I live here, and am curious. I've seen one Obama sign and no Hillary signs. Lots of local political signs, though.

32. It's standard political operating practice.
During the '92 campaign, GHWBush flew in to the airport
near our house and his motorcade route out of the airport
travelled directly past our house. Mr. Tesha made *DAMNED
SURE* that he was standing out there proudly right at
the roadside waving his Clinton sign as Bush rolled by.

(This was back in the days when the President could still
travel among the people without snipers covering his
every move.)

No quarter should be offered to Bush-like folks.

Tesha

18. Oh, please. Proportionately, there have been at least as many nasty
posts from Hillary supporters. The other day, one of them was comparing Obama to Hitler. Clinton supporters have repeatedly bashed Michelle Obama. Chelsea Clinton is a grown woman, and a campaign surrogate. She's not 12 years old. I've seen Clinton supporters criticize Obama's very young children. The OP is simply noting that there are lots of yard signs supporting Obama. That's hardly beyond the pale.

23. Two wrongs don't make a right.
It is all horrible behavior. I am not sure about your proportionality argument. I have remained an uncommitted voter at this point and do not have any allegiance to either candidate. I really do like them both. I am on DU daily and I can tell you that the Obama supporters horrible behavior far outweighs that of the Clinton supporters. I am sure you will disagree though. There are those who can not handle the truth and make changes that will be necessary to unite the party. It is much more entertaining to post criticisms of a candidates daughter.

27. What?
It has zero to do with any candidate I support...it's only about you, and your choice of words. I don't know if you represent and speak for Hillary Clinton, but I only speak for myself, and no where did I infer that I "hated" Hillary. Stop projecting your hatred on me. And if the daughter of a Democratic Candidate chooses to put herself in the middle of a Presidential Campaign she is bound to see "Yard Signs". Oh the outrage!!

22. She is campaigning for her Mother.
She has never done anything to deserve some of the ire from the Obama camp. She has received very impressive receptions at her stops, mostly college campuses. Her Mother has the support of half the Democratic Party, tallying up approximately 16 million votes. There does not seem to be a lack of support following Chelsea as you have stated. Twisting facts and being horrible to a young woman who is merely showing her love and support to her Mother is an acceptable practice here on DU though. Just another example of that "hope and unity" thing I keep hearing about, but have yet to see.

Come on....Let's just read this part again:

"and ponder just what Chelsea really hopes to gain...

in what industry does Chelsea work in again ?"

It was a dig at the daughter of one of our Democratic candidates. Would you feel the same if Obama's children were old enough to campaign and someone said similar things? Somehow I doubt that.

If she's just a daughter on the sidelines, then she's out of bounds.

If she's out there shilling for mommy, then she gets wht she gets.

But if it's for the other candidate, it's "shilling."

Nice.

Unity, my big fat ass. I take it you wouldn't welcome an intelligent, well-spoken, attractive young person such as Chelsea campaigning for Obama in the fall. You must not need our votes, either.
