Honest question for Hillary supporters concerning Michigan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULxxBz-PAjg

That is a 15 second audio recording of Hillary on NHPR saying Michigan's primary won't count.

Hillary supporters, please, I beg of you, explain to me why she is now saying they should count? Can any Hillary supporter honestly defend this switching of positions?

1. I agree that it's clear that hundreds of thousands of people are going to die in Burma
That doesn't mean I agree that it's a good thing.

2. Huh? What does that have to do with
Hillary's pronouncements about Michigan?

12. Hillary pronounced that it was clear that their election wasn't going to count
from this, it is argued that Hillary must, therefore, be supportive of disenfranchising Mchigan and/or Florida voters. This argument is a fallacious one. It would be equally fallacious for you to argue that because I said it is clear that hundreds of thousands of people are going to die in Burma, I am cool with it.

3. In Sept the rules said only half the delegates would count - Dean favored Obama and made it zero-not
Edited on Mon May-12-08 02:40 PM by papau
a good idea and not one that Hillary agree to.

The agreement signed by all candidates was to not campaign in Mich - and all agreed and did not except Obama who ran the "vote uncommitted" campaign

4. You did not address Hillary's quote. She said Michigan wasn't going to count. Period.

10. But WHY?...
Why didn't she voice ANY OBJECTION to this plan BEFORE she signed the pledge?

PLEASE just answer me that question.

14. Do you know how many times I've been told: "IT'S NOT OVER! HILL CAN STILL WIN!!"
That's all I've heard for the past week. If she's "in it to win it", I'm in it to stop her. The only thing that could sink Obama now is complacency. So, I'm calling her on all her shit. I'm calling her supporters on their shit. I'm not letting up until I hear a fucking concession speech.

Don't like it?

Well if you can't take the heat...

7. Perhaps you need to refine your question:
Maybe you should restate it to say:

"WHY didn't Hillary Clinton voice any objections to Michigan and Florida not being counted BEFORE she signed the pledge?"

No one has EVER answered that question adequately. If any Clinton supporter can give me a LOGICAL SENSIBLE explanation to THAT one, I'd sure appreciate it.
