If Hillary wins 100% of the vote in WV, 100% of the vote in KY, 100% of the vote in PR, and Obama
merely splits the rest of the delegates 50%-50%, OBAMA STILL WINS BY A DOZEN DELEGATES.

6. Why?
Do you really think it's fair to give all of Michigan's delegates to Hillary even though Obama wasn't on the ballot?

16. Yes, by all means
Let's give her 100% of Michigan, where polls say Obama would win handily, and 100% of Florida, where he never campaigned.

This is really pathetic.

showed Obama winning Michigan handily. That's entirely made up.

4. Don't you realize
That despite the fact that large victories in other states, and in some cases strings of large victories in other states, have failed to generate sustainable momentum for either candidate, a win in West Virginia will turn the tide and SDs will flock to Clinton and she will win the remaining contests by enough to take the lead.

Oh and :sarcasm:

Since they've been doing it all along. Do you actually think they can't switch again?

15. I wish Hillary supporters would stop living in Hillary's Fantasyland..
The sooner EVERYONE excepts that it's over for Hillary no matter what happens in W VA and KY
two states Obama expects to lose by the way. The better off the Democrated party will be.

No one stole this for Senator Clinton She lost fair and square, based on the rules at the start of this race. I hear people saying FL and MI should count. but only for Hillary. UMmm Barack had to win with out those to states just as Hillary did. The challenge is Barack WON IN SPITE OF Fl and MI
Hillary Didn't. If she was in the Lead she wouldn't give a Texas 2 step about MI and FL

Bottom line we already got a President who won by cheating do we really want to do that to this country again?

17. I can only think of a dozen who have switched. All of them have been from Hillary to Obama. Can you
Edited on Mon May-12-08 03:45 PM by Stop Cornyn
name one who switched from Obama to Hillary?

Can you even articulate a reason why a super delegate might switch from Obama to Hillary if he or she has not done so already?

Of course, nothing is certain. Obama could die tomorrow in a car crash. Do you realize that such a tragedy is pretty much Hillary's only hope of winning the nomination, and even if Obama died in a car crash tomorrow, Gore would stand as good a chance of getting the nomination as Hillary?

28. Huum, that would mean they have Multiple Personalities
like a candidate that we know.

Just keep misspeaking and forgetting and baiting and switching.

And maybe their husbands can come out swinging this way and that way for them.

America deserves better than that .....

11. When did that rule change take effect?
Last I heard, the winner of the most pledged delegates is the one who is awarded the nomination, no matter what Terry McAuliffe is allowed to keep spewing.

And despite whatever Camp Clinton is trying to do to pad their numbers with FL and MI, the superdelegates continue to pledge support to Obama.

14. Does popular vote include people from caucus states? If so, she cannot possibly win the popular vote
either. The ONLY way Hillary can win the "popular vote" is if (1) we DON'T count people from caucus states and (2) we DO count the MI and FL straw polls contrary to Hillary's prior agreement, and (3) she wins the remaining popular vote by a margin beyond which she has won any primary or caucus thus far into the election.

Don't hold your breath ...

21. Boy, I wish we could have made that case for Gore in 2000!

But no, THOSE WERE NOT THE RULES! By using the "popular vote" methodology, you in effect disenfranchise MORE states than Florida and Michigan who voted in caucuses instead, and THEY followed the rules!

10. Stated another way, if Hillary wins 2 of every 3 delegates from here on out, she still loses so when
she talks about wining in WV, remember that she has to win MORE THAN 2 delegates for every single delegate Obama wins from here on out or she loses.

she has no delusions at this point. Thats why you hear nothing but sweetness and light now. She may try one more push after WV but I doubt it.

unless of course if she beats Obama by 100% then I think she will go on :P

That is no more or less likely than having them all switch to Hillary.
