Who's Your Pick For Obama's Chief of Staff? Obama's A One Term Senator
he needs someone who knows the Congressional rulebook and can work well with others.

I nominate Tom Daschle. He wasn't the strongest Majority Leader, but he'd be good a herding cats as Chief of Staff.

8. He already has the best chief of staff on the Hill.
see Pete Rouse. Pete has run the Chicago HQ all through the primaries, has been the senator's congressional Chief of Staff and has served in that role to multiple senators since 1971; there is no one better inside or outside of the Beltway. There is really no other choice for this position.
