Can someone outline why Sebelius would be a good VP choice?
I can see she is quite popular among many here. And it looks as if she is definitely willing to stand up to big business, as evidence her veto of a bill that would have resulted in the construction of two coal-fired plants in Kansas. But other than that, what type of experience or capabilities does she bring to the ticket? Again, I am not familiar with her background, so forgive me for having to ask. :hi:

2. I don't care that much for her
and I'm from Kansas.

She only vetoed the bill because the vote totals showed it would not be over-ridden. Normally she gets rolled over by the Republican legislature and then goes around bragging about the lousy bills they just passed. Other than the power plants, her main accomplishment seems to be allowing casinos in eastern Kansas, something I am against.

3. Didn't Sebelius provide the Democratic response to the
State of the Union Address ... I found her to be lackluster and, well, rather dull.

4. 0 for 3 so far.
She looks to be strong on pro-choice. That's two pluses (for most progressives, anyway).

Shouldn't she have some kind of foreign policy strengths to help balance the ticket in this area?
