Yes, the media certainly is biased
Look at the photo of Hillary that msnbc has up in this story:

1. The media is just as biased as the five or six republicans that own and run it

5. At this point in time, the Republicans
are not going after her. There is no reason that they should post a picture like this. It makes her look crazed. I'm sure that they got several more shots that were far more flattering.

I'm sick and tired of this from the media, and BTW, if you didn't know, I support Obama.

3. was it photoshopped? nope.
face it, that's how your face looks when you're yelling, and that is how Clinton yells to a crowd.
They could probably find a more flattering picture, but that shot does show action and emotion. A static glamour presskit photo does not.

6. I don't agree
I'm sure they got more animated shots that were better. I think that they are trying to send out a subtle message.

I am not one who has ever cried "sexist", and I don't think it's a sexist photo.

7. I can't prove you wrong, but I disagree with the contention this was an overt attempt
to manipulate. What would be the point? Obama is the nominee at this point, so I don't think there's any advantage to detracting from her, after they've been propping her up all along to draw out the fight for their own ratings.

I simply don't think some people look all that good on camera. I've seen a lot of photos of Clinton, and I don't think she fares that well under the lens most of the time.

9. If she can't take a good picture, she should get out of the frame
and off the stage

11. The pro-Obama bias has been documented by FAIR, CMPA & Pew Research.
It was obvious already fairly early last year, and continues this year:

http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=3094

http://www.sptimes.com/2008/03/09/Opinion/Media_tainted_by_anti.shtml

And yes, that picture is an example.

We've had topics here in the past about the media showing a bias against Dems by picking unflattering pictures. But Obama supporters don't want to admit that bias is there when the candidate the bias is directed at is Hillary Clinton.

13. Consider: The picture they chose may be the best of the bunch....
Hillary's media pictures are usually unflattering. Having taken my own pictures of her at events during the Clinton administration, I can tell you that it is best to take several because getting a flattering picture of her can be tough.

14. I disagree. It's not that bad.
As someone else mentioned, it shows her speaking. No, it's not one of her better pictures, but hard to make the case from just that that the media is biased against her.
