1. It won't work politically I imagine, but I think Kerry would have been a great VP for Obama
but rightly or wrongly (wrongly in my opinion) Kerry has an elitist reputation. But what a great team they would be.

22. I still really like Kerry.
Edited on Tue May-13-08 01:26 PM by Erin Elizabeth
Is it ok to still really like him? I mean, take away all the untrue shit that was smeared around and you still have a really upstanding, honest, incredibly intelligent hard-working man who is a good leader.

He'd make a TERRIFIC vice president. Or really in any kind of advisory role--cabinet member.

I'll never forget reading about how he always leaves a twenty dollar bill on the pillow of the hotel room beds he stays in for the cleaning staff. Most people never think of doing things like that. But he never forgets to.

23. Ah, you put it into words.
I had a hard time describing it. But it's like he's got this aura about him. Very competent, confident, statesmanlike. He looks and acts and talks and interacts with others the way you think a president should.

(Not like the current one--an emotionally retarded brain-dead baboon, which is what we have unfortunately come to be used to.)

25. I can't help but be happy at the thought of that
as far as our relations with the rest of the world goes. It will go far to help, I think, when they see a man who actually ACTS like a leader should.
