The Rove Connection

I was part of a group just yesterday discussing the election. The Karl Rove connection to Obama came up. I told them that I wrote the Obama campaign and asked if he had any connection whatsoever to Karl Rove. Since he is only a truthteller I knew that he would answer and tell the truth. I am dissappointed to receive NO answer. I like ALIBE50 have smelled the stench of Karl Rove. I wonder how gullible people can be. I am totally turned off by the 24 hour a day unpaid commercials for Obama that have been done by Buzzflash, Air America, Msnbc, Cnn,Serius to name a few. The hate filled letters that would appear to be written by card carrying members of the right wing, that I have read here tonight do not at all reflect the intelligence that one would expect to see from thinking people, which liberal minded people like to think they are. Where or when does personifying hatred work for good? The letters tell me that Obama has failed already at his goal to unite the country. I am still waiting to hear him tell the media, as mentioned above and his supporters to take the high road, stop the lies and half truths they have learned from the right wing and are repeating about his opponent.I have been waiting too long for him to refute these haters and I have to wonder if he doesn't just use the haters to say for him what he wants to, but he would fall into the ditch off of his high road, if he did. A Karl Rove strategy. I am waiting for him to actually tell us his plans and just how he intends to work with the congress since that is the stumbling block that none of us in the discussion saw him even acknowledging. Is this not what we should expect from a true leader? I heard it said on the nameless channel last week that Karl Rove was supporting Obama. I believe for ours and his own good he must tell us if he has ties to Rove. We certainly cannot afford another White House governed by Rove and everyone knows he doesn't play second fiddle. I question if this were the military and not an election where anyone can be president as we have seen, Would you pin the stripes of a General on a person who had earned them by experience or can a private talk you into letting him run the army? I have said before that the first time I smelled Karl Rove was when Hillary called a press conference and everyone knew why, and before she could get off the plane from Iraq, Obama announced his candidancy. A Karl Rove trick if I ever saw one. Believe you me kids I used to be naive. My husbands Grandmother asked me once during the Viet Nam war, Do you think your government would lie to you ? I told her No. She told me very kindly that I was wrong. I have never forgotten the lessons I learned from her and experience has proven her right on just about all counts. If you think experience doesn't count why do you hire an electrician or an accountant? Why not just do it all yourself? We can't do this in our business and we can't afford to in our government either. One more thing, Who will be VP? Will it be first out of the gate Kennedy,or Kerry, Bradley or Richardson? Is this a democratic situation at the present time the way the media and Buzzflash etc. are trying to shame Hillary out of the race and deprive those of us in states that have not had primaries yet the chance to even vote? What is the flavor of your Kool Aid this year?
