Obama is doing extremely well, considering the above photo. He will be president, but we can't ignore how much he will need to overcome to get there. :(

Here's the story:

14. Ain't that the truth. By the way, the Curious George reference came from Limbaugh's show.
A caller used it to describe Obama, and it took off from there. That's why you're seeing it on t-shirts and stuff. Limbaugh didn't continue using it; too over the top for him, even.

For now, anyway.

19. Thanks, I did not know that.
I know I have a really odd sense of humor, but ... in a way I kind of like the T-shirt. Obviously, I don't like what the originator of the t-shirt is saying but ... as an attack, it's pretty weak--not just because it's ignorant, but because who doesn't like Curious George

I think the banana, though, puts it over the top. Maybe a better image, like if he were holding balloons or something.

Now, before you hit 'Alert' let me explain. This is in the spirit of turning this stupid attack on its head and making it something positive.

Curious George = Cute

Obama = Cute

I think they both have the same smile, too. Big, broad, and welcoming.

Sorry, but I love Obama and I love Curious George! Don't let them use George to smear our candidate!

11. These people will be the last to change
but they will change. When we have our first black/biracial president and he turns out to be better than any other president in their memory, they will have no reasonable choice but to adjust their thinking. I believe that this year the MAJORITY will judge the candidates by the 'content of their character' and not by their skin color or gender. I think we have come that far or we wouldn't have chosen this very gifted man.

We will get to the promised land. The knuckle-draggers will get there kicking and screaming, but they will get there too.

17. I am sick of racism. Its time we stopped this bs and all united for
the betterment of the whole nation.
I have been trying to get a friend to support Obama.....I really don't know what to do about her as I have known her for 33 years.
I would like to tell her she is basically reacting like a Nazi. I lost one friend over Bush and will just try to get this one not to vote as she will vote McBush.
