I think Donna Brazile just told Howard Wolfson to forget his fucked up logic on seating FLA/MI.

Well, not exactly but John King (CNN) challenged Howard Wolfson to explain the math/pathway to a win (after John explained Hillary needs to win ALL the remaining contests by huge margins) and all Howard could counter with was...

(Howard Wolfson) I will not except any math that does not include FLA/MI. He goes on to suggest the rules committee will say...oh...forget the rules when they meet on May 31.

In response ---

(Donna Brazile) Rules are the rules and we worked long and hard to put those rules in place for a reason. Donna went on to ask what would it mean to our party's future if we ignored the 48 states that followed the rules?
I think she tipped the hat on what the rules committee will do.

The above words are paraphrased as best as I could hear and remember. Wolfson is hanging ANY hope of a Clinton victory on the 'rules committee' overturning the rules set by the DNC/Howard Dean for all the states and in particular, the two states that broke said rules. That seems incredibly unlikely.

ON EDIT: Donna's answer is very relevant because she is on that rules committee!

3. I wouldn't get my hopes up...
The majority of people on the board, have either come out in support of clinton, or are superdelegates that have endorsed her. Hell, Ickes is on her CAMPAIGN. I don't want to say a priori that they'll be biased because I don't know but, I am worried. I think what will probably happen is a half seating of both delegations, but who knows about their superdelegates

7. I heard Donna Brazile a week or so ago on
the Bill Press show and she seemed rather determined in getting the point across that Hillary wasn't going to get her way. In a diplomatic tone, of course.

9. She certainly is, one of 31 people on that committee.
It was very rude of her to shake her head while Wolfson was talking, when she is "undeclared". That's some joke!

14. Brazile was rude, as she always is to Hillary's supporters.
And the fact that she has outwardly supported Obama from day one, when CNN pretends she is unbiased - - it comes across as a sick joke.

13. My mother feels the right freely went after Clinton in retaliation for what Brazile did to Bush
On October 20, 1988, she made news by telling a group of reporters that George H.W. Bush needed to "'fess up" about unsubstantiated rumors of an extramarital affair. Said Brazile, ""The American people have every right to know if Barbara Bush will share that bed with him in the White House." The Dukakis campaign immediately disavowed her remarks and, at the suggestion of campaign manager Susan Estrich, Brazile resigned the same day.

11. Leaving aside the fact that Hillary Clinton only seems to give a shit about Hillary Clinton
I think most of the rational members of the rules committee would have to understand that if they junk the rules, 4 years from now primary scheduling will be a total fucking free-for-all, and they will NEVER be able to put that genie back in the bottle.
