Mississippi election: good discussion thread here .... link
This is a Mississippi conservative blog- can you sense the fear? Anyway, you can get good insight into what the results from various counties mean. This post looks very good for Childers:

"First real harbinger of trouble for Davis. Yalobusha County. Davis won it 48/46 last time. He lost it 59/41 this time."

5. Another great sign for Childers- huge increase in his Panola County margin from last time
Another bad sign for Davis. Panola is almost in. It was a 43/43 tie last time. This time it’s 57/43 Childers. That’s on Davis’ side of the district.
