Obama/Clinton Ticket Can't Lose
The first Black President and the First Woman Vice President would be a landslide and given the alternative I think only the racists would vote for Insane In The McCain. And even they have to go to the gas pump so it might be a shutout.
It really is a win/win for both so I hope that it will be the ticket.

I posted this in the wrong forum sorry ---but now it is in the right one.

2. No.
Imagine dragging this soap opera out through the length of the election. It would be a media three ring circus. We'd never get to challenge McCain because all the scrutiny would be over how Obama and Clinton beat each other to a pulp and then all of a sudden joined forces (on a change ticket, no less). That would be a nightmare.

11. That ticket would guarantee a McCain victory.
Obama has enough to overcome with being Black.
He doesn't need the MOST DISLIKED woman in the USA
tossed into his shopping cart.

The Repubs and their Media Outlets have been pushing
Hillary as the Dem Nominee for TWO YEARS...because they
know that she would give them a win in '08.

Now that we didn't FALL FOR IT, they're pushing her as
a VP nominee...because they know that she would give them
a win in '08.

The only CHANCE they have is the desperate hope that we'll
have Hillary on the ticket.

I'm pretty sure Obama isn't that stupid, so our chances remain
excellent and Hillary-free.

18. Sorry, I will not vote for Obama for any office, and many other

Clinton supporters are taking the same position.

No We Won't.

About 16 million people have voted for Hillary Clinton so far, not counting West Virginia. Many of us will only vote for her as the Dem nominee. NO-bama on the ticket. He split the party, despite his talk of Unity.

21. As VP, HRC (& WJC) would act as the President and defy Obama to do anything about it.
He could not fire them, only publicly call for their impeachment. HRC would probably set up Obama with fake documentation of some horrid acts of high crimes and misdemeanors and call for counter-impeachment (new word!).

I think she wants to be POTUS really, really bad.

p.s. she may even try a 25th Amendment play to justify a mutiny.

28. Fried catfish is delicious. Ice cream is delicious. That doesn't mean that fried catfish ice cream
would be in winning Ben & Jerry's combination.

Obama needs to pick a running-mate to maximize his prospects of winning, and not treat the position as a consolation prize divvied out to the second place finisher in order to assuage her hurt feelings.

38. The campaign that Hillary has run
should dispel any such ridiculous notions of a joint ticket. If Obama chose her, I certainly would think a lot less of him.

The M$M is stirring the pot. I also think Hillary wants VP at this point and is pressuring for it. But it's really a bad idea. The Obama campaign will have to figure out some other way to appeal to Hillary's significant constituency.
