anything less than 80% in WV for Hillary is a LOSS for her. Got it?
The fact that she stumped and drawled and did everything she could to get the white racists of WV to vote for her while Obama focused on the general election and she STILL couldn't crack 70% of the vote proves she is doomed and has been doomed to be the runner up.

Bill and Hillary need to take a couple of days off, face each other across a table and have the frank discussion that "the dream is dead". It is not theirs.

This is the time for them to face reality and support our nominee, Barack Obama.

2. then she is a psycho. she really hates America
and what the American people are doing and saying. We want someone who can rise above the pig shit of American politics these past 16 years. It's time for a new person who has similar ideas but NONE of the negatives of Hillary Clinton.

Hillary WILL Be stopped by the superdelegates when the vast majority come down in favor of Obama no later than early next week.

This thing is over. She will go graciously or she will go like a screaming drunk being dragged from a party where she just doesn't know when to quit.

16. Wow
"and what the American people are doing and saying. We want someone who can rise above the pig shit of American politics these past 16 years."

Bill Clinton created twenty eight million new jobs...He stewarded the longest peace time econom,ic expansion in the history of the republic...The percentage of Americans living below the poverty line was at its lowest level in a generation...African American and Latino unemployment was at its lowest level in history...He was the first president to leave with a budget surplus in a generation...

I guarantee you the next president , regardless of party, will not come close to repeating that performance...

Bet?

3. yeah, whatever
imo what is happening here, the sudden dramatic increase in vitriol from obama supporters, is a colossal case of buyer's remorse. they've finally realized that their guy has been a creation of a republican media that is now poised to take him down and hand the white house to mccain.

just because you're on drugs doesn't mean you're right. Look around you. This WV aberration is IT. Next week is going to be tilted in Obama's favor as delegates continue to go his way and Kentucky/Oregon are essentially a wash.

I think anyone who has sat down and listened to Obama for very long knows he's got his facts together and he's the man for the job.

No buyers remorse here!

We just had an Obama fundraising party last weekend and people came out of the woodwork. We offered food and drink but they all wanted to push up their sleeves and get to work. No buyers remorse, just committed Dems of every shade who believe the Barack is the man for our time.

When this primary is over, hopefully we can all go back to being on the same side.

No snark.

Edited on Wed May-14-08 12:55 PM by bvar22
Its popping up on DU today.
Lets observe how many Hillary operatives try to catapult this propaganda today.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5963130

The way to absolutely DISPROVE this new bit of propaganda is to simply observe which way the SDs (and pledged Ds) are moving. ->--->---->--->---> OBAMA!

Who has "Buyers Remorse"?

The correct answer would be: Early Hillary supporters.

my coworker is Republican and voted for him. I know many independents who voted for him. Just because you and other Hillary supporters decided to go her way doesn't mean he isn't drawing lots of people toward him that don't typcially vote for a Democrat.

The summer without Hillary mucking up the works should be interesting to watch.

12. That's one of the most bizarre rationalizations I've ever seen
almost no one EVER wins 80% in American elections.

Actually, its also pretty uncommon for a leading candidate to get thumped by over 40% of the vote anywhere- but not unheard of.

Obama spent more money than Clinton. I think that shows that Edwards should be the nominee. From the world of wild and wacky rationalizations.

All white racists voted for Hillary

does NOT mean that

All votes for Hillary were from White Racists.

43. Basic flaw in reasoning. A racist isn't going to want Hillary for president any more than Obama.
So, it follows that the OP is calling all West Virginians that voted for Hillary racists, OR he is saying that there are a hell of a lot of racist democrats in West Virginia that they could possibly influence the vote to be a landslide. Either way, it's insulting.

The fact of the matter is that this race is not over until one of the two remaining candidates secures the majority in the delegate count, both the pledged delegates in the primaries and the superdelegates at the Democratic National Convention in August. Neither Hillary or Barry will have the required number of delegates until this August at the convention.

30. Anything less than a 250% win in WV was a loss for Hillary because she could not win the nomination
even if she had won 100% of the WV vote. She needed more delegates out of WV than WV had to offer. She had already lost before yesterday.
