WV is over! Move the hell on! These voters don't matter anymore since
Edited on Wed May-14-08 09:06 AM by Blue_Roses
the election has been held. In November, things will be different and either these voters will open their eyes to change and see that living in the past is NOT going to work for them anymore, or they will continue to suffer in poverty. That goes for ANY voters. I'm so glad we have young, smart, energetic voters, who see past the Clinton years and are choosing to help pull us out of the rut George Bush caused. I don't see these older stuck-in-their-ways voters helping to do that. They live in fear and ignorance. Fine, so be it, but the rest of us are ready for change.

Why waste time on voters who don't want to change? Fuck it.

On Edit: Not all older voters feel this way and my apologies for generalizing. My 88 year-old mother is voting for Obama--oh, and she's a southern bred white woman (not that it should matter)--so there is hope.:D

1. It really is hard to want to fight for them as a group
mentally as well as time wise.

Not after watching that video: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x131862

3. WV is kind of an empty "victory" anyway, isn't it?
I'm not sure how much I'd crow about my landslide victory in such a place, in HRC's shoes. Not that there's anything wrong with WV, it's a lovely state.

5. Are you saying that voters who don't
make the same decision as you about who to vote for in a primary don't count. They are democrats too. Maybe they think you should open your eyes. I wonder who the hell you think you are? Young, smart. energetic voters as opposed to older people who can see bullshit a mile away. Kiss off you twerp.

6. Attitudes like yours have done great damage to WV voters
I have spoken with many older voters here who have never voted repub and never will but
they will write in Hillary's name because they can not support elitist attitudes
that are willing to write them off.

The arrogance of someone that refuses to open their eyes and understand those voters
who support Hillary over Obama saying: "Why waste time on voters who don't want to change? Fuck it."
while they themselves refuse to change is very obvious the older and wiser Democrats.

I won't say Obama will lose because of these arrogant supporters but they are not helping
to elect a Democrat this November.

8. My 84-year-old Arkansas-born white mother-in-law, who was the biggest Clinton defender
you could ever imagine, and who actually spoke in favor of Hillary in her caucus, has switched to Obama because "he's so wonderful!"
