West VA: More Voted for Obama than McCain

Obama sure got crushed in West Virginia last night, receiving only 91,652 votes. John McCain sure must be pleased, right, knowing that his opponent could only get ninety thousand people to vote for him?

Well, too bad McCain only got 89,683 votes.

Yes, you heard me, even in the heart of Appalachia Barack Hussein Obama pulled in two thousand more votes than the Republican presumptive nominee.

Seems to me that this should be the spin coming out of the Obama camp this morning.

2. And only half of Hillary's supporters say they will vote for Obama...
in the fall. Would that make him more competitive? It's difficult to make judgement from any primary votes, as we have seen in the past.

30% of those who voted for Hillary said they will vote for McCain in GE.

30% of those who voted for Obama said they will vote for McCain in GE.

This pretty much means WV will remain red regardless of who wins the democratic primary.
