Uncommitted TN superdelegate goes for Clinton
From a press release: Tennessee Automatic Delegate Vicky Harwell announced her support for Hillary Clinton today. Harwell, of Pulaski, is president of the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women.

"Hillary's decisive victory in West Virginia is the latest evidence that she is the strongest candidate to take on John McCain and win back the White House," Harwell said. "Hillary has the plans, leadership and experience to deliver real results as President." http://blogs.knoxnews.com/knx/silence/archives/2008/05/uncommitted_tn.shtml

The SD's are seeing reality.

12. It's as good a term as "superdelegate"
Official term is "Unpledged."

9. You know how the average family has 2.3 children?
Well, now you know how that 0.3 of a child gets representation!

18. Delegates from overseas are counted as half.
The half delegate today said,

“As a Democrat abroad, I've seen the repercussions of the Republican Administration every day, in the diminished reputation of the United States and in the lack of real leadership both at home and abroad, from the economy to the war in Iraq,” said Christine Marques. “I'm proud to be a Democrat, and proud of both our candidates. Today I pledge my support to Senator Barack Obama because I believe that he will take our country in the right direction, he will restore America's reputation, he will honor the men and women who are bravely serving our country, and he will reach out to Americans across the country and around the world. I hope that voters overseas join me in registering today at www.VoteFromAbroad.org so that all our voices are heard this November.”

8. The GOP must have forgotten about that.
They foolishly went with the leader in delegates and not the winner of WV, Mike Huckabee.

10. "Automatic delegate" = "Super delegate"
A delegate who doesn't need to be elected to attend the convention;
they're "automatically" included.

13. The women in the TN Federation of Democratic Women lobbied
long and hard to have our president be a delegate and we finally achieved that so our president will automatically be a delegate to conventions. I'll have to check on how she attained the superdelegate status, though.

I wish she hadn't used the results of WV as her reason to support Hillary, though.

11. Pulaski, Tennessee... birthplace of the KKK
I live in Tennessee, and believe me, Bush carried this state twice, so very few 'round here see reality.

16. "SD's" implies plural.
You've got one there, unless Vicky Harwell has multiple personalities.
