2. I would call this significant.
Now let's wait for the obvious followup from Camp Hillary: "NARAL are a bunch of sexist misogynist pigs, and they're dead to us".

11. I would agree.
This is pretty significant. They didn't want to get involved in the primary.

18. You mean women think he is the best choice?
And mostly White Women?

Am I reading this correctly?

3. Which begs the question- why can't Obama "seal the deal" with anti-choice nutjobs?
Obviously, he has a problem.

6. Any organization that endorses at this point is just saying, "me too."
It's pretty clear who the nominee is going to be.

Not exactly a brave move.

15. I have no idea what her endgame is.
Edited on Wed May-14-08 01:53 PM by onehandle
I would say that she should quit, but Obama himself says she should stay in.

This death struggle is doing only one good thing. Driving lots of voters to the polls.

I want it over.

Ask a Hillary person your question.

19. I don't think Obama is actually saying
that she should stay in.
He has said that she should stay in as long as she likes. Imagine the criticism he would get if he was perceived as trying to "force' her out. So he really can't say much else.
But "Obama himself says she should stay in," sounds like he is encouraging her to stay in, and that is simply not the case.

22. Normally, I'd agree but this year I think they might be trying to say "Finish it up"
Edited on Thu May-15-08 07:51 AM by JVS
They might have anxiety that HRC is going to precipitate a convention debacle.

20. according to wiki ...
"The group was founded in 1968 by Bernard Nathanson, Larry Lader and Betty Friedan as the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws..."

"in 1973 . . . it changed its name to National Abortion Rights Action League, then to National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League, and in 2003 dropped the long form in favor of "NARAL Pro-Choice America."
