2. Sounds fine, but does Edwards want that?
Do you run for VP twice? Not sure he's going to be looking to do that.

12. So would I!
With him in that spot, you can be sure there would be no more of the crooked shenanigans we've seen under the Bush appointees.

5. They both are great grassroot organizers.
But I don't think Edwards would want to be VP for anyone.

7. I doubt VP, but Obama did use the phrase "Universal Healthcare"
I think the exchange or deal is closer to Obama taking up Edwards issue of poverty and Universal Healthcare.

11. Would he do it a second time?
That would be pretty unusual. But he brings a lot more to the ticket now than he did last time. He has a stronger message and a lot of committed supporters. Plus, he's a Southern white guy who appeals to blue-collar West Virginia types -- something Obama is going to need after this primary.

15. Good point!
He will be 62 in 2016. That would position him as an elder statesman, and serving as VP would give him the experience and gravitas that he hasn't proven (in some people's minds).

18. I love the idea. I don't know if JE would go for a second VP try, but it'd guarantee us 16 years in
the WH !
