Upbeat Much?
For the first time in months I am starting to feel good about our chances in November. Mr. Edwards' endorsement and the way this was managed by the Obama campaign, make it clear to me that we are going to do well against the republicans. For all the displeasure at Clinton's endless end game, the one positive is that it has hardened and honed the Obama campaign. They are even more professional than they were when they ran the table on Clinton early on with an excellent ground campaign operating concurrently in many states. They have learned how to take the punches and how to play their cards to their best advantage. To the extent that Clinton has played the role of stalking horse, she has done us well. It hasn't been pleasant, but we are in fact stronger for having gone through this now.

4. I've been pretty upbeat since I heard Obama's victory speech in Iowa, except
for when the MSM was obsessively focusing on Rev. Wright. I actually wasn't so downbeat at that time because of our chances in November, but rather it was a real shocker to me that Americans would still let something like that bother them so much. That it was such an issue that a black man was saying things that might not sound flattering about the country.

I agree, though, I feel like we're back on the right track now.

Obama's gonna be real good for this country.
