If I were Obama I'd be asking if he could campaign there 24/7, obama can then try and run things up in Oregon. It helps at least blunt the huge advantage hillary has in being in one place herself, and then having an ex-president somewhere else (which is not to say that Michelle isn't a highly intelligent, and charismatic advocate for obama in her own right)

BTW, anybody know if any country performers have endorsed Obama? They could be a big help here(and before anybody pipes up, not ALL country artists are right wingers. A good number of them are populist/progressive types.)

That's what I've heard anyway. So maybe that is his plan, although I think he's got some plains state endorsers who would do just as good as Edwards. Although, I think just turning the entire election to the GE is a good strategy too.
