"Working Class White People" and the Transparent Euphemism.
When Senator Barack Obama handily wins the upcoming primary in Oregon and carries that new "demographic" that Hillary Clinton and her campaign champions to represent, I wonder: How will the news media and Bill and Hillary respond to that great wrinkle in their "logic".

Will the idiots at Fox and CNN ponder the important question that Barack Obama's winning the "working class white vote" in Oregon might signal that Hillary has a "problem with white voters"?

Will the corporate media talking head acknowledge that Barack has won majorities of white voters in many states including a big win in Oregon? Or will that "important question" be dropped like a hot potato because it is no longer useful? Dropped because Oregon will prove that it doesn't fit? Dropped because there never was a kernel of truth in the ugly assertation from the beginning, but it provided a euphemism to work the race issue against Obama who proved from the beginning in Iowa that white voters who work for a living ("working class whites") like me vote for him by the millions?

We will learn a lot about the corporate news media and, sadly, about the Clintons and their surrogates like Lanny Davis when Barack Obama wins a majority of white voters in Oregon, won't we?

And we will learn everything we need to know by their silence which reveals their shame.

At least, for once Lanny Davis will keep his trap shut.

1. Yup. Its widespread use shows just how successful white folks have been...
at enforcing their moratorium on the word "racist."

5. you're 1 for 3

White areas are Appalachia, according to the US government. Note the large swaths of Ohio and Pennsylvania that are included.
