1. Thanks for posting.
I'm on his email list but many others are not. It's important he return to office.

6. Kerry will face former House candidate Jim Ogonowski, the repub loser.
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/senate-gop-leader-kerry-less-popular-2008-04-29.html

snip-->

Kerry will face former House candidate Jim Ogonowski, who narrowly lost a House special election
last year to Rep. Niki Tsongas (D-Mass.). The former Democratic presidential nominee has received
about $9.4 million in contributions, nearly 10 times the amount than Ogonowski has.

snip-->

Both McConnell and Kerry are also poised to benefit from running in a presidential year, when
Kentucky voters tend to vote Republican and Massachusetts voters lean heavily toward Democrats.

7. Honestly, I'm worried about Teddy. He's looking might worn down lately. We have some really amazing
options to fill his seat methinks.
When that time comes.

13. Kerry is my Senator and though I disagree with his support of Obama
I don't hold it against him - however he is NOT beloved in MA. Luckily Ognowski and the other nut are not threats to his re-election

15. Actually, he is
He took down Gov. Weld at the height of his popularity (I voted for Weld). He hasn't had a serious challenge since then, and this year is going to be one of those. Granted Ognowski is no giant like Weld, he is well liked (folksy charm); and he'll get crushed. We welcomed him like the native son he is for the 2004 DNC.

Most of the loud people who don't like him are in the minority.

19. Actually he isn't. I know who Ognowski is he ran in my district.
and the people in his hometown despise him, he did fairly well against Tsongas because there are A LOT of unenrolled (closet Repubs in the district). I think the world of Kerry but that feeling in MA isn't widespread - we'll just have to agree to disagree.

26. He's not beloved in the media and he's ruffled more than a few feathers in DC.
Other that that, I disagree about him not being beloved.

Agree on the rest though.

20. I already donated -- in 2004
He had a special drive to get money to "make sure every vote was counted." Ten minutes after the last poll closed, he conceded and absconded with the millions he raised. That money -- and four years interest on it -- should be plenty for his campaign.

Seriously, save the "I supported Kerry, but he conceded" grandstanding. It's tired.

24. It really is
and it's too bad that some of Obama's supporters don't appreciate the surrogate work Kerry is doing on his behalf. He has been one of the best surrogates Obama has.

31. how do you count votes..
that can't be counted? Did you follow the court cases in Ohio? And did you follow the money he gave to the DNC, and other Democratic Candidates. Do you know that 22 states still use DRE's with no paper, and no way to conduct a recount? But the people residing in 13 states have pushed their state government's to enact legislation that requires paper ballots, as well as a standard recount following each election? Will your vote be counted in the November election, and if it is not, who will you blame then?
