It's your choice in November: Obama or McCain
I keep seeing threads asking "how will you get Hillary supporters to vote for Obama in November?" or "You need us more than we need you" and nonsense such as that. I guess my feeling is if you don't vote for the Democratic nominee in November then you aren't a real democrat anyway. If you don't vote for president at all that is still helping McCain. If you vote for Nader...we'll we know what the consequences of that were from 2000.

So it's up to you. If you think your candidate losing the nomination is bigger than allowing John McCain to be president then I doubt there is anything Obama supporters can say to you to make you change your mind. Civility is needed again in this forum, but that goes both ways.

Let me be clear that I've lost respect for HRC through her campaign but I wouldn't hestitate to vote for her if she were in the position Obama will be in--our nominee for president. It would hurt not to have Obama as the nominee, but not as bad as it would be with John McCain as president for four years.

1. I agree, I've said this for awhile
whether Hillary admits it or not, it's over. It's Obama or McCain now. I supposed there are a few third parties, and people who feel strong support for them are welcome to vote that way, but it's time to choose sides now, Hillary is not an option (neither is Gore).

I think what I find most alarming is the amount of racism that still exists in the Democratic party

I honestly believe that that is going to be more of an obstacle than uniting with former Hillary supporters.

2. I'd vote for Satan over McCain
At least then it would be an honest Evil.
