Poll question: Do you think Obama already knows who his running mate will be?
Simple poll. I am going to say no, with little confidence.

1. No, because as soon as they start to talk to potential running mates
word will leak out.

6. No it wouldn't! I actually think he has narrowed down a short list,
but hasn't made a final decision, but as far as leaks go, have you forgotten about the suspense Kerry created when he chose Edwards? The announcement was done by unveiling the campaign plane that was painted with both names on it. That was done at the Atlanta airport! My son works in aircraft maintenance there, and I told him how surprised I was that they could actually PAINT A BIG PLANE with the names on and nothing was leaked out! Kerry & Edwards managed to get to the Atlanta airport, get into the hanger, and still keep the VP name under wraps. My son explained to me that ONE GUY does that custom painting, and he can be totally trusted to keep his mouth shut!

8. I think you can keep your final choice a secret. However who you are talking to
is known by too many people for it to stay quiet.

11. But if he talks to a number of candidates and plays the media..
..he can use the topic to keep attention on his campaign and message for awhile...

7. I would think by now, he has a short list.
And we all know who is NOT on it.

Seriously though, I'm sure he's probably given it some thought, but the campaign has been rolling on, so it's not like he's had a week off to think about "nothing but the Veep thing."
