Alaska may elect a Dem president, House critter and US Senator this year (new poll)

Obama is competitive in Alaska, but Hillary isn't at this point:

McCain: 49
Obama: 42

McCain: 55
Clinton: 37

Yeah, I know it's only 3 electoral votes, but it would certainly be nice to win them and Obama would be stronger in helping our congressional candidates who are currently leading the GOP incumbents:

Senate:
Stevens (R) 43%
Begit (D) 48%

House:

Young (R): 40
Berkowitz (D): 50

As you say, it's only 3 votes, but Alaskans liked the fact that he opened a campaign office there. Visiting the state and showing that he cares about it will not cost too much time and say a lot to Alaskans.
