Presidential candidate fires back at Bush "appeasement" comments
On his futon campaigning today, the Democratic frontrunner Wetzelbill was asked about Bush's comments about appeasement that he made in Israel today.

Wetzelbill replied: "Yeah it takes a lot of balls for a guy to say that when his grandaddy plotted to overthrow the U.S. government in the '30s and then ended up being a Nazi Sympathizer who was still doing business with the Nazis even as they were rolling tanks down the streets of Paris. Also, if he's so worried about appeasing terrorists, maybe he can tell Poppy Bush and family consigliere, Jim Baker to both get their noses out of the asses of the House of Saud. Good night and good luck."

6. I think I donated money to the Wetzelbill campaign . . .
But I can't remember when or why.

18. I noted your handle "SFEXPAT2000" and . . .
Since I'm an SF expat myself (lived in the Bay Area for about 20 years, now in Australia), and browsed to your profile.

How on earth do you rack up over 74,000 posts?

20. Ah ha! And I spend all that time trying to come up with something witty . . .
Which I manage about half the time (ahem).

Luckily I've been out of the States more than in over the last 10 years or so (although some of the places I've been have been pretty cruddy), because I find 1) the international perspective is essential to preventing my brain from exploding and 2) not being on the same continent with Schimpanski and his gang of slugs is a clear win.

Although, if you have to be in the US, San Francisco is definitely the place to be.

5. haha
Seriously, what a clown. Easily the worst president ever, his grandfather was a Nazi sympathizer, and he says this? He must be really confident our media will refuse to even go there. It's simple, Prescott Bush was a Nazi sympathizer, it's his grandfather. Duh. But you won't hear it, instead we'll get Obama's lack of a flag lapel pin and we'll get such insights as who people would rather have a beer with.

7. Gore Vidal calls him "the little Bush" and said recently
that these are the stupidest people ever to inhabit the White House. Can't argue with that.

11. I have never seen such blatant ignorance
in power. You could tell Dick Cheney and Co. that the sky is blue, but the dumbfucker's if they wanted to believe it was green, they'd just believe it was green, no matter what. It's frustrating. Bush is an utter moron. I still can't believe he was taking us into Iraq, and at his Super Bowl party a few weeks before we went in, one of the Iraqi dissident professors had to tell him that the country had Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds in it. He didn't know there was seperate factions. Ugh. I can tolerate someone stupid to an extent, but when a person makes it a point to be an idiot, that's too much.

14. I read, on the eve of the invasion, that there were at least 20 different factions.
Apparently, none of them enjoy American chocolate.

15. oh yeah if you want to break them all down
Sure there is quite a few. Like the Kurds have been at war for years, for example. Their two big rival faction leaders, Talabani and Barzani, have showed tremendous restraint these last five years and gotten good leadership positions for themselves. But don't expect Bush to be able to comprehend 20 factions, hell, he didn't even know the basic 3. And McCain sounds like he can't even keep Sunni and Shi'a straight half the time. You know, if you take a country to war, and then want to continue that war into another presidency, it makes sense to not know anything about that country in the first place. :)

8. oh he'd get hammered for it
Bad. They'd turn it on him, just like they turned Kerry's military service on him. But, you know, it would be nice to see people call Bush on this stuff. Instead the media will run what he says from the bully pulpit, run what McCain says, and then counter with what Obama and/or Hillary says, and then get some weak middle of the road guy to say they are all a little right and a little wrong and treat it like it's a good story.

12. I figured the media would ignore that; it was ignored throughout
the campaign when the imbecile was running for pResident, and it will be ignored now. The moron is indeed confident that it won't be...or he really honest to God is THAT STUPID.

23. Yeah, they're great at making shit up, and great at destroying the
evidence of shit they've done, and they'll stoop to any level they think necessary to "win" (steal) this election if we let them.
And we can't be complacent and allow the media to be complicit in this; if all they're "reporting" is WH talking points, or Reich Wing Spin, we have to hold them accountable as well.

24. Democratic frontrunner?
If I donate to your campaign, can I be ambassador to Ireland? Also, do you except donations in confederate dollars? (I'm planning on robbing Pat Buchanan's house later this week)

Just for talking to me and such. :)

Oh yeah, I'll accept Confederate dollars. I'll take anything. Especially if it's part of a plan to rip off Pat.
