Now is the time to defend Obama, to praise Obama, and certainly to do no harm to Obama.

It's a little tacky to ask all Democrats to unite behind Obama today when the last primaries will be over in about two weeks. Let the rest of the people vote their heart whatever that is, and then let's unite behind the winner - which will be Obama.

It might very well be that just as Sen. Edward's waited for the right timing to endorse Sen. Obama - and it worked out very well. It might be a few more weeks before Sen. Clinton makes the inevitable official. It's hard to say.

There's still more than one candidate in the hunt, so we can continue the debate. It's only for a few more weeks, I think, then we can unite behind the nominee, which of course is Obama.

I hope we're down to one candidate by next Wednesday, but I don't think that'll happen.

Hey folks, I didn't get the candidate I wanted either. I had to spend two weeks in a cognitive dissonance-induced funk while I came to grips with the situation.
