So we're not ready to agree on a candidate. Are we ready to agree on principles?
All the fighting here has gotten out of hand because none of us is going to switch candidates for either rational or emotional reasons. I give up on that score and say "Let the games continue".

However, can we all agree that in principle we ALL agree that everyone should have full equal rights regardless of color, creed, religious status, appearance or sexual orientation?

And can we agree that a strong social safety net that encompasses physical and emotional wellbeing is essential to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Can we all rally around those two things and remember the common bonds we ALL share?

1. Can we agree that both the Executive and Legislative branches must now
enact policies that DECREASE the hegemony and control of multinational corporations over the lives of our citizens, and INCREASE participation by citizens in the political process?
