I'm voting for the senior citizen
As a senior citizen I have been subject to discrimination for many years now. It is nearly impossible for me to get a job. The cost of my medications continue to rise, while my medicare coverage has over the last few years been ripped to shreds. On top of that my SS hasn't kept pace with inflation, so now I have to choose between medicine and food! Not to mention that my retirement benefits have been stripped away, and this has been sanctioned by the courts!

It is clear to me that electing the oldest person possible to the White House this fall will mean a total and complete sea-change for senior citizens everywhere! Finally our struggle to be treated as equals will make a huge leap forward. I am confident that John McCain will take our concerns seriously. I am confident that he will work night and day to help me afford my medicine, and to increase my Social Security payments.

I haven't really had time to take a good hard look at his policy platforms, but really how different can they be from the other candidates?

That's why I don't understand why people are always knocking him. Well I do understand but it hurts me inside. The only real reason to criticize him is because of ageism. Most Americans are simply afraid to recognize that older folks can do a job just as well if not better than anyone else!

If you're a Senior Citizen, vote McCain in November! Lets take a huge step forward for retired people everywhere!

:sarcasm:

2. I'm writing in Giuliani, since he's the only candidate who shared my religious preference.
We Catholics have been given the short end for far too long!

4. Staunchly for Lieberman here... everything that they say about him
Just boils down to Antisemitism. If you disagree with me your only basis must be your hatred of joooos.

Lieberman is the most liberal Dem there ever was!!!!!!

5. You can write in
Biden, Dodd or Kuchinich, then. We were well represented this year -- especially by my personal niche, IRISH Catholics! :hi:

6. John "Psycho Geezer" McCain
I can’t seem to face up to the facts
I’m tense and nervous and I can’t relax
I can’t sleep because my bed’s on fire
Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire.

Psycho Geezer
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away
OH OH OH
Psycho Geezer
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa better
Run run run run run run run away
Oh OH oh
AY AY AY AY AY Um
You start a conversation you can't even finish it.
You're talkin' a lot, but you're not sayin' anything.
When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed.
Say something once, why say it again?

Psycho Geezer,
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away
OH OH OH
Psycho Geezer
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away
OH OH OH
AY AY AYA AY UM

Ce que j'ai fait, ce soir-là
Ce qu'elle a dit, ce soir-là
Réalisant mon espoir
Je me lance vers la gloire ... OK
We are vain and we are blind
I hate people when they're not polite

Psycho Geezer,
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away
OH OH OH
Psycho Geezer,
Qu'est-ce que c'est?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away
OH OH OH
AY AYA AY AY um

11. It works on so many levels!
I'm picturing "So Cool Butter Won't Melt In His Mouth" Obama going toe to toe with John "Psycho Geezer" McCain...

McCain is going to lose it. It will be a huge embarrassment, and I'll feel very sorry for him, but he and his wranglers had to have known this was going to happen... talk about inevitable!

10. I'm older than McCain, and if he's too old, I'm too old!
Entirely aside from his Bush-like views, he IS too old to be president. I don't give a damn if his momma IS still around--with the hard miles he's got, he's sorta like a rental car used by a NASCAR driver.

It is not so much his age as his intellegence, his ablility to reason, his nasty temper and not to forget he is insane.

15. Yeah I've met some pretty quick old people
Some people keep up with the times, use their brains enough that they don't rot, etc. Many don't. The president's health is a major issue if all of those are addressed though.

I'm sick of people grandstanding about race and gender in this election. It's all tribalist bullshit whether you're supporting a candidate based on race/sex/age/religion/whatever, or whether you're against them for those same reasons.

If you validate supporting a candidate because of their tribal affiliation, then you validate people being against them for those same reasons.

Stop with the black n proud, white n proud, woman n proud, etc stuff please people. You're doing more harm than good.

Personally, I'm human and proud. well sort of proud. we humans have a lot to answer for....

Lets just focus on getting the best PERSON for the job regardless of "what" that person is.

That would make a real statement to the Diebold machine that cares about your feelings.
