It's time to surrender to reality. Objectivity and good judgment are skills/qualities you don't gain from experience, from time, from simply being around -- the passage of time doesn't teach you to think things through properly, it doesn't teach you to have foresight. If the right actually tries to use this experience or weak argument against Obama in the GE, they're in for a rude awakening.
