When will the next Super Delegate dump happen?
Edited on Fri May-16-08 06:58 PM by kohodog
It is entirely conceivable that Obama will go over 2025 dels next week.I think Tuesday is unlikely. Wednesday some super delegate may be able to put him over the top (Except for Florida and Michigan which will keep Hillary going). My theory is that some of these guys want a Warhol moment and will vie to be Mr/Ms 2025. Cynical, I know but our politicians are politicians after all (and many of them suck). So watch the next few days and watch Wednesday. Your thoughts?
(Disclosure: Just so you know, I have been firmly in Obamas camp since Edwards dropped out, but tonight I had a couple of pops and am feeling a bit cynical).

1. There are 8 add ons scheduled to be announced for this weekend
if they all come out for Obama (5 are from California) then that would suggest that the party has a script or there is a spontaneous move in the party to end it now.

On Tuesday Obama will win the pledged delegate majority and we will see how many are in the Pelosi club.

Could be 30 or more.

Also when some big names like Pelosi and Carter jump the cracks will start to widen and those Clinton SDs that represent districts that went big for Obama will start to jump.

It could be over by Wednesday

It is interesting that Obama went to Michigan and brought a big endorsement

On Wednesday he is scheduled to go to FL for 3 days and you know he is going to try and bring the biggest name he can.

3. Gore? Pelosi?
I really think it will officially over next week, to the point of Hillary's concession.

2. Wed...I heard even if she got FL and MI she still loses by a slim
Margin...

This has to end....The Democractic party has to take on Obama/McSame now...not later.

4. He'll mathematically eliminate Hillary with 17 more pledged delegates on Tuesday
He could easily have 2025 by next weekend.
