Democratic Analysts are Going to Have to Start Speaking Up
The Rethugs have been given their talking points. Appeasement is the new word, and while Chris Matthews handled the screaming radio host yesterday...a less loud, but equally dumb rethug was just on Dam Abrams show mimicking those same talking points. The other two Dems acted like they weren't even upset. At least that one woman spoke up, the other guy on the far left of the screen didn't say much of anything. To be honest with you, Mark Green didn't even say anything to the Right-Winger Host yesterday on Hardball...he just sat there grinning...thank God for Matthews who didn't put up with it.

If the Democrats are going to win the PR war against McCain and the GOP...our strategists on TV have to STOP acting afraid to speak up against some BS Republican argument. Rethugs I notice like the dominate the topic of discussion, especially when it's partisan. They love screaming and yelling over other people to prove a point. I guess that's scared some Dems...

3. The problem that you have is the ones that are "progressive" are simply
journalists or so they think, so they try to hold on to objectivity, while getting their asses kicked 1/2 of the time. The ones on the right are shameless hacks who will scream themselves to a victory. In otherwords, we are dealing with apples and oranges. Once the Democratic party unites, Obama will have his own surrogates that will be more forceful, because that is how he will lead. As the head of the ticket, he will set the tone, and the tone apparently is one that will be clear, cogent and unambigious.

4. I'm not happy with how Democrats are handling this. We seem confused/defensive when this is a ripe
issue for us to pounce on. We need to attack, attack, attack right now Bush and McCain.

5. yes, Democrats need to be on the OFFENSIVE, not defense
my God, when will we ever learn? Where are our leaders who will strike out with their own arguments? Where is the offensive team who makes news instead of trying to defend Republican slanders?

6. Because some Democrats agree
And you have to really keep up with what Dem you have in front of you to figure out why they're saying what they're saying. Mark Green has leaned towards Hillary and isn't the most progressive Dem, although yesterday he didn't say anything because Matthews didn't want him to. Matthews wanted the kid to be shown as the fool he was.

I don't know who was on today, but you have to consider their Dem Party agenda too.
