Since I realize that I wasn't typing it all out, let me do so now:

With the competition winding down, one of the better things I like to see is that even though Barack and Hillary have been fierce rivals, Obama isn't the bridge burning type.

While Obama has quipped that he would like to have Hillary's advice, I didn't take it as a joke, but as a statement of how he likes to make decisions. He wants input from many perspectives, many voices. The Clintons could certainly bring that to the table. He may not agree, but it's a good source of information.

As far as my sig, it's part of what I respect about the man, brushing off the drama, the invective, the rhetoric, the silly attacks, the poisoning mentality of demonizing opposition.

I want a president who will listen to Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, heck, any executive authority or candidate member still alive. We're in the mess we have right now because of politics where demonization is acceptable.

I want a president who does the right thing for the country, not their party, not their future speaking fees, not their lobbyists... but their country.

You saw Bill in the photo and then the "I hate the Clintons" microswitch that is in your ass activated, and you could not see anything else. It's a common condition with many Obama supporters. Just give it 5 minutes and it will deactivate.

Sen. Obama, President Clinton, Sen. Clinton, President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush went there together to visit the Katrina evacuees at the Houston Convention Center and the Astrodome.

It was important work and they did it together.
