Channeling Beckett, Ionesco, Stoppard, Pinter, Camus, Genet, Albee et al
Hillary's conference call and back and forth with her bloggers reminded me of the coin scene in Stoppard's Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.

The heroes drift helplessly toward their inevitable demise, and rather than shaping events, they pass the time playing witty word games and pondering their predicament with complete incomprehension of their situation.

It is classic theater of the absurd.
