Obama getting painted with the same liberal brush Kerry was painted with!
I'm starting to hear more-and-more on television and radio that Barack Obama is the Senator that is the furthest left out of all of the Democratic Senators. It all seem to start with Sean Hannity, but I am sure he probably heard that from his Oxycontin addicted leader, "Lush Rimbaugh". I find that kind of odd! They must have went back to the John Kerry files of 2004 of far left thinking, pulled it out, dusted it off, and attached it to the Obama files! Even Hillary Clinton used that terminology to discribe Barack's position, as stated in this December Newday article:

<<snip>>

Using a curious tactic in a Democratic primary season dominated by liberals, Hillary Rodham Clinton Tuesday accused Barack Obama of being too far left to be elected president- http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/ny-usobam1212,0,6542148.story

1. Why can't we paint the Repugs as too conservative
like Bush, Rove and Cheney. Conservative should conjure up the same negative feeling as liberal

6. Let's be honest: If Sean Hannity were our nominee, republicans would declare him the most liberal...
...candidate ever.

8. They ALWAYS declare the Democratic Nominee as the...
most liberal in their position. Seriously. Research it.

The amazing thing is people ALWAYS freak out over it.

Just make note of all the political retards you come across that will tell you the won't vote for him because he's THE most liberal.

9. Being "painted with a liberal brush" should be a badge of honor.
Of course, when it's not true, when a neoliberal is painted with that brush, it mocks that honor.

10. It would be an honor...
however...the right has spent years making "liberal" a bad word.

Of course...if we were smart, our side would start calling McCain a neo-con. We just need a left magazine to label him "the most neo-conservative senator in the senate"...and our talking heads need to start repeating it over and over on air.

11. They've only been able to warp that word because we've allowed it.
I agree about the "neocon" label. That's not a one-way street, though.

How many liberals, especially liberal Democrats, have the courage to call some of their own party neoliberals?

I do.

12. Great...
Now do you think you can undo the smell associated with the word "liberal" the right has so successfully spent years sullying by November?

Hope you see my point.

16. Neo-libs are the "kinder, gentler" brand of Neo-cons.
They apologize after they commit mass-murder for a "good cause".

14. I don't think that mime carries the same weight it did four years ago
Four years ago, "liberals hate America" could be said with a straight face.

It's simply lost its traction.
