Sickening "reporter" on CNN just intoned
that Kennedy's medical condidtion will be a loss for the Democratic party, and for Obama. He's now saying that repugs may not be able to use him to fundraise now. This is the crassest report I have ever seen. The news broke little more than an hour ago, and they're already boiling it down to money.

10. Here's a link to an MSNBC clip
when it was breaking news.

Pat Buchannan gives him the highest praise for his work in the Senate, saying he has probably been the most effective Senator our country has had. Then they went on to discuss how it would affect the Dem party, etc.

A very nice piece.

15. Local news haven't mentioned phone calls, but he was to sponsor a large fundraiser this afternoon
A family athletic fundraiser to be held from Hyannisport to benefit children.... sounds like people came in from out of town for the bicycle ride.... I hope they ride for the children and for the good health of Senator Kennedy
