how many of them are just interested in stirring shit rather than supporting either candidate? It just seems to me a lot of these posts are just too out there to be made by a common sense democrat at this stage of the contest.

Every time I try and post a unity oriented post, it's attacked as dishonest simply because I support Obama (everybody has someone they support) or it drops much liken to an anvil pushed off the precipice of a cliff such as my 4th Congressional District NC Democratic Convention post of yesterday. I wonder at motive quite a bit.

I'd recommend not engaging anyone who still keeps on stirring up the supporters of either Obama or Clinton. Just don't click on those threads. We need to settle things down and get going on the general election.

Note to Hillary supporters: She isn't slamming Obama anymore, I notice. She must know she's not going to get the nomination--so please follow her example.

Note to Obama supporters: save your fire for McCain.

4. I'm convinced there is a real, vicious hatred factor, maybe 10% or

less (hopefully). Let's hope most of it is limited to posting such stuff
anonymously. On the pessimistic side, true, violent kooks have always been around....

Edited to add that I'm referring to flamebait expressions in general and anywhere. It has been surprising, at first, to see it on DU.
