I completely expect that EITHER Obama or Hillary would mop the floor with McCain.

Why? Recent history, war and the economy.

If we can regain some perspective and grace and humor we can have not just the White House, but the majorities required to do some real good for the people of this country for a change.

The only people pushing "electability" FAKE issues are pollsters and pundits that need to pay their own bills.

1. I don't understand why they can't/won't change course

They know that they represent their districts, folks back home, why this complete diss the people for George Bush theme. Surely the we are the champions mindset died out in 2006. Why not do a little for the common good now. All the crowing about the cost of the new GI Bill; we spend that much in 2 weeks in Iraq. I really have not understood these last 8 years. They have acted like monarchs lording over an unruly populace that they would beat down as much as possible. And they treat the UN and other foreign countries the same way.

2. First of all. If Democrats stuck together it would be a landslide no matter who the nominee is
But of course. As usual Democrats won't do that and Republicans will. Thats the reason we've had a moron for president the 2 terms

3. I'm surprised at the number of dems who claim to prefer rancid dogfood
to not getting the nominee of their choice - which many of us didn't. I started with Edwards and Biden. Howver, I don't want to be fed rancid dogfood for 8 years so I'm voting dem!

5. We stand a the foot of a great ascent.
Make sure you bring your rope and pitons with you.

At the top, lies a new America, perhaps even the best America has been since the thirties and forties.

We have to succeed, because the challenges we face are enormous.

7. Everyone Has Electability Issues
BHO and HRC are both really weak candidates, with really big "electability" issues, and further weakened by the most bitter, divisive primary race in living memory.
Fortunately, the Repiglickin party as a whole is having some pretty big electability issues at the moment, with Bush**'s unpopularity setting new records.

We can win if we have enough of these
