To my fellow Pacific NWers
I am soooo proud of our little region of the country. Not only is it drop-dead gorgeous here, but the people are just on the ball politically. I wish I could have been in Portland today for that truly historic rally. I look at those pictures and my jaw just drops. How can someone bring THAT kind of a crowd and NOT kick John McCain's ass?!

I adore Oregon, and I adore it even more now! Can't wait to head to the coast next weekend for a little R&R. :)

2. I live in WA, but I agree wholeheartedly.
McCain won't have a chance around here.

5. Amazingly, I see more signs for Ron Paul than for McCain.
I live in Oly so it's kinda the backyard for hillbilly country once you got about 20 miles or so south of here, but I think we're a nice mix of conservative/liberal/somewhere in between.

7. Well, our liberal/conservatives tend to be more anti-establishment.
So even the conservatives don't like Bush.

9. Yes, exactly!
Either way, I love the independent spirit of this part of the country. Now if WA could get on board with its transportation issues. This next gubernatorial race has me all in a bind! Gregoire vs Rossi Part 2: Electoral Boogaloo.

Arguing over the constitution with RP supporters is way more satisfying than arguing over abortion rights with freepers. I do hope we can solve our public transportation issue here. The traffic is dreadful in Seattle.

13. Yeah, Oregon is pretty, except for that one part.
Between Ontario and Pendleton.
But, you can't beat it once you get near the Blues.

15. I live in the Skagit Valley in Washington...
...and I love our Pacific Northwest. But I am especially proud today of our Oregon neighbors to the south or that incredible Obama rally. Well done.

18. We Pacific NWers are noted for being able to differentiate the B.S. from the ice cream.
And, proved it, again, today in Portland.
