A very brief guide for the politically naive
For those of you shocked, SHOCKED I say by any attacks on Michelle Obama, I point you to Andrew Jackson's wife Rachel and the campaign of 1828. (for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Google it)

Oh, and Rachel Jackson wasn't out on the stump campaigning in 1828.

Sorry, but if you're standing up and campaigning for someone, things you say can be used against you. Thats politics. If Michelle Obama can't take it, then she should sit down (but something tells me she's more than strong enough to take it.)

1. An even briefer guide for the politically naive:
When candidates are attacked, they often turn the attack around on their attackers, and suggest that their attackers are morally deficient for having made such an attack. That's politics.

2. I find it odd
after all the crap Hillary had thrown at her during the 90s these "femnist" who support Hillary are so quick to do the same thing to Michelle.

3. Who the fuck is "shocked" by these attacks?
the Tennessee GOP is known for being scummy, and many more scummy ads like this will come out in the general election. Does that mean we can't comment on how predictably lame it is? I don't think that Obama is naive to this, and I don't think that it is a sign of weakness for him to offer a defense of his wife. If he didn't defend his wife at all in the matter when asked about this, he would be criticized.

I'm all for taking that scrawny death merchant to task.

How many people have died from drivers impaired by her product?
How much blood is on her fucking hands?

She is a death merchant and should be called just that.

Not to mention she's a former thivving drug addict. Stealing drugs to get another fix.

If they wanna play ugly, bring it.

14. Uh, they interviewed several of them in WV recently
And when I was canvassing in 3 different states I had people personally tell me that's the reason they wouldn't vote for Obama.

I take them at their word.

7. I'm shocked by very little. Look what the GOP did to McCain in 2000.
If they're willing to attack their own in such a vile manner, then I'd expect no less from them against Democrats.
