It is absolutely sickening to read that Obama strategeryists
are reaching out to the people they hate on the side of the candidate they hate.

Yea, I know it's politics to use people to get what you want.

But it's so difficult to stomach -- just like it is the tone here in General Discussion: Primaries where there is nothing but Democrat bashing directed toward anyone who hasn't pledged their blind allegiance to Obama.

Just read the titles of these threads.

"Clinton supporters are now actively embracing Karl Rove"

NEW YORK - A top strategist for Barack Obama has reached out to Hillary Rodham Clinton's former campaign manager about joining forces for the general election, the latest sign of political reconciliation between the two rivals as Obama begins consolidating his position as the likely Democratic nominee.

Obama strategist David Axelrod and former Clinton aide Patti Solis Doyle confirmed they had had informal conversations about how she might help the Illinois senator if he secures the presidential nomination as expected. The conversations were first reported on the Politico Web site

38. When you are in a better frame of mind...please come back and read your initial post....
as well as some of your responses.

They are pretty hostile, even to neutral questions.

It seems to me that the hostility is coming from your end. Look at your post in the calm, coolness of the aftershock of Hillary's final end to her campaign, and see if you agree that you had lost your objectivity.

57. As I said, you are not being objective. I see no "hostile comments" that are not
responding to something specifically done by the opponent of Obama.

I DO see a number of posts like yours...being "sickened" by opponent supporters, seeing "hatred" everywhere, but not responding to anything that the Obama campaign has done or said.

6. Well, first Obama supporters were supposed to be nice to the Clinton campaign.
Now that the Obama campaign is reaching out to offer an olive branch, it becomes disgusting that they haven't quit and given all their delegates to the Clinton campaign.

And none of the people pushing that idea will ever notice the fact that they've engaged in more Democrat-bashing than everyone else put together.

12. I think there's some logic missing here...
You seem to assume that because Obama supporters "hate" Hillary & Hillary's supporters, that the campaign strategists feel the same way

I don't think that they do... I think it's all non-personal to them, because that's the way politics works. You campaign and vote against each other and at the end of the fight, you all get together for the higher good - the good of the party and of the country.

Spare me the victimology. As for your complaints about people embracing Karl Rove, there are several threads here today where he is suddenly being praised as an expert. Here's Hillary Clinton citing his 'analysis', with video, to justify why she's the stronger candidate:

supporter bows down and claims "it's all true, Obama is playing dirty, Obama is losing, Obama is using right wing tactics, Obama is a liar" then Hillary supporters will consider them "playing fair".

The only people being viciously attacked here (with the minor exception of trolls) are the ones who refuse to vote for the Democratic candidate, whoever it is. Are you in that group? Will you vote for Obama if he wins? If you won't then yes you deserve to be attacked for not being a democrat.

Other than that you really need to stop with the strawman argument, and generalizations.
