44. The party is split down the middle, if that's what you are talking about.
There is much unease with Obama from a large portion of Hillary supporters. I wouldn't call it hate, but many of her supporters, voters, are vocally saying they will not support Obama as the nominee. So it seems like there is a lot of animosity on both sides.

If you are talking about KO and MoveOn and Kos, et al, well, we had a media shove another one-letter campaign down our throats eight years ago. A lot of us remember that.

As for that four letter word hate, all I can say is anyone feeling hatered toward Hillary has their own problems.

Here are three good reasons why I hate HiLIARy: She is a LIAR! She is a HYPOCRITE! She believes she is ENTITLED to the nomination.

Edited on Tue May-20-08 05:12 AM by FourStarDemocrat
You truly get to see a fuller picture of the integrity or lack thereof of all of the candidates. Months ago, I would have never known that Hillary would fall this low to attempt to gain power by using Rove and the Republican playbook. And playing the sexism card over and over again, on top of other episodes of alarming conduct. For me, it's almost a good thing now that I'm seeing her for what she is so that I'll never make the mistake again of voting for her (she's my Senator) in any capacity.

76. Wondering
Are the Obama supporters incapable of unbiased listening? OR are they just dishonest?

Hillary said that a curious thing had happened. Karl Rove's math says she can win. She laughed.

That's what she said.

Olberman in his zeal to set Obama up (or campaign for him, who knows?) then interpreted her remark as Hillary's support of Karl Rove. How he came to that conclusion is beyond me...unless...he saw great value in using it to smear Hillary once again.
I had great hopes for Olberman, but he has become just another hack on the tube, good at twisting and interpreting things the way he wants the dumb and dumber to view them.

We've had a President who excluded all members of an opposing party. He is really just President of the Republican Party. He was never able to grow into the job. I would hope that a Democratic President, if elected could rise above party politics and become a President for all of the People.

78. Clinton was sarcastic about Rove. Obama was also on Fox. KO is Hillary obsessed.

Maybe KO has Al Gore disease and thinks that Hillary Clinton is not good enough for Bill Clinton. Everybody in the world wants some of Bill Clinton.

80. When does the Democratic Party get serious about dismantling corporate media?
Our Democratic leaders love Fox, almost as much as they love other corporations.

82. Obamamann is such an ass
Of course, the supporters of Mr. "Hope" would turn against him in a heartbeat the second he stops sucking him off.

86. No, that was what Bill did to Monica: "I never had sex with that woman."
Edited on Tue May-20-08 06:34 PM by Divernan
You talk about someone turning against someone "in a heartbeat". When Clinton was caught in his oval office fling with his intern, he could have admitted it, expressed his regret, taken responsibility as the far more mature person and the one with ALL the power in that interaction, and dealt with the fall out - but instead he tried to lie his way out of it - which meant that under oath he denied what Monica Lewinsky had admitted to, thereby branding her a liar.

88. Wow.
My original post might not have been the height of maturity but at least I didn't stoop to using that sort of right-wing trash.

Free Republic is that way, pal.

89. I quoted WJC directly. Your crude language was all your own.

Don't dish it out if you can't take it. By the way, if you're interested, I was clearing out a closet today and came across some unopened bottles I saved from the Clinton Inaugural (I was his supporter and a guest, then.) I have one bottle of Germain-Robin, "Alambic Brandy, Small Barrel PV25, Clinton Inaugural 1993, Bottle No. 35 (40% alcohol); and 2 bottles of California champagne, with labels reading "Special Inaugural Cuvee" and "Inauguration of Preseident and Vice President 1993". I was going to hand them down in the family - but now I think they'll go for pennies on E-Bay.

I'm a Democrat going back to my first election of JFK - straight through. (I have a picture of one of my uncles in the Oval Office with JFK - they were both PT boat commanders.) The Clintons have let this party down, and they've let this country down. Oh, and speaking as an over 65, professional woman (lawyer) and someone who used to teach Women's Studies back in the 70's, it is my well considered opinion that Hillary has in particular let the feminist movement down.

90. I make no apologies for what I said about Olbermann
He has become nothing but a pathetic shill for Obama. I have no problem with him criticizing Hillary but when he constantly points out her flaws while ignoring Obama's, he's no better than the Bush-loving pundits he mocks.

And I don't care how long you've been a Democrat. Making fun of Clinton for his affair is something Republicans do.

91. Oh I find nothing remotely humorous about Clinton's self-indulgent, reckless behavior.
Edited on Tue May-20-08 06:32 PM by Divernan
He squandered the opportunity to make something of his presidency and displayed a fatal lack of integrity and character.

Attacking Keith Olberman and Barack Obama is something Republicans (and you) do.
