Obama's Map ("the" math?)
Much has been made of how Clinton, and not Obama, would win the GE because of her (and Rove's) "electoral vote map." I've responded a couple of times that, even if her numbers and assumptions were accurate (which they are not), the Democratic map is in the process of changing. Or, at least, some people hope so. After all, if you ask yourself, after the Democrats have spent election after election trying to "swing" that same several states their way, and failing more often than not....if you ask yourself, "Well, how's that approach been workin' for me?" If you ask yourself that, maybe you'd at least want to visit the possibility of a changed map.

Here is one take on a possible Obama map, from March 2008, followed by the chart listing the states.

Will be blue. Texas has a shot at being blue. Not so sure if VA will be blue.

8. I hope not. I doubt it.
I was worried after the primary, but two polls since have shown Obama with healthy leads over McCain. Clinton just had such a big institutional advantage in the primary...PA has never been a state we could take for granted, but I think we still have the edge there.

12. The democratic party in the state is like a big frat
Its natural people like Rendell Nutter and Rhavenstal supported Clinton, you gonna support a member of the fraternity or someone who is pledging? When it comes down to it in the GE they will be falling all over themselves campaigning for Obama in the state. If not for ideals at least to preserve their own bottom line.

9. Today, Obama is losing to McCain, but Clinton wins
An old map is meaningless, since Obama called Dem voters bitter and racist in the PA primary.

11. Keep lying.
Obama didn't call anyone racist and a lot of people are bitter. Also, Obama is winning PA in all of "today's" polls.
