And I'm not talking the malapropisms, I mean the stuff he says in earnest.

"Just a goddamned piece of paper!"

"I'm the decider!"

"Heck of a lot easier if this were a dictatorship, so long as I'm the dictator!"

Etc.

Obama makes a few flubs (if you could even call them that) about people being "bitter" and now something about American people eating too much and they are going nuts. Or he says something about talking to our enemies; something that practically like every past leader has done, in one capacity or another. Of course they're not subjecting McAngerIssues to the same scrutiny, either.

I know IOKIYAR. :grr:

Simply subtract everything you haven't said. The rest is all bullshit.

7. I don't get the sense that's what he was referring to.
It seemed to be about our use of resources and feelings of being entitled to have food shipped in from all over the world to keep up with our tastes. I don't care how much you weigh, it's a good idea to think about how far that Caesar's Salad traveled to get to your plate. Ultimately, observing a healthier, and more local, diet might be good for our waistlines, but I don't think that's the larger point he was making in that statement.

6. The amount we spend to suck fat out
could feed whole countries. It's something to think about. We're hurting our own health and we're hurting the world.
